Responsibilities
- Lead advanced development for new hardware categories and define system architecture.
- Translate high-level product aspirations into technical briefs and Engineering Requirements Documents (ERDs).
- Act as the technical North Star for cross-functional teams, guiding them through complex trade-offs.
- Partner with suppliers and leadership to conduct feasibility studies and provide technical roadmaps.
- Provide high-level technical mentorship to cross-functional teams.
Job Requirements
- 12+ years of hardware experience, focusing on complex consumer electronics.
- Proven track record of navigating ambiguity and conducting feasibility studies.
- Ability to communicate complex engineering challenges to senior stakeholders.
- High competency in modern manufacturing processes and tolerance analysis.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.
