Responsibilities
- Evaluate and develop manufacturing processes by analyzing product design and collaborating with suppliers.
- Support work transfer projects ensuring smooth transition and integration.
- Perform process verifications to ensure compliance with performance specifications.
- Design and modify manufacturing methods and equipment based on product requirements.
- Apply continuous improvement and lean manufacturing principles to enhance efficiency.
- Ensure product and process quality through testing methods and statistical tools.
- Maintain product and process databases through documentation and reporting.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering or a related field.
- Typically requires two or more years of related experience.
- Preferred experience in lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methods.
- Proficient in ERP systems and CAD/CAM or other manufacturing systems.
- Solid knowledge of manufacturing engineering principles and aerospace industry standards.
- Strong analytical skills to define problems and analyze data.
- Effective communication skills for presenting information clearly.
