Responsibilities

  • Assist in the design and development of mechanical and electro-mechanical systems.
  • Monitor production, installation, operation, maintenance, testing, and repair of equipment.
  • Collaborate with the engineering team on various projects.
  • Complete engineering-related tasks including CAD work and hardware integration.
  • Revise and create process plans and documentation.
  • Test and validate materials and components.
  • Work a minimum of 20 hours per week, with full-time availability during the summer.

Job Requirements

  • Current enrollment in a local college or university towards a BS degree in mechanical, electrical, or ceramic engineering or material science.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills.
  • Familiarity with SolidWorks CAD and manufacturing processes is preferred.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical documents and safety regulations.
  • Understanding of military specifications and environments is a plus.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team setting.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen.
