Responsibilities
- Assist in the design and development of mechanical and electro-mechanical systems.
- Monitor production, installation, operation, maintenance, testing, and repair of equipment.
- Collaborate with the engineering team on various projects.
- Complete engineering-related tasks including CAD work and hardware integration.
- Revise and create process plans and documentation.
- Test and validate materials and components.
- Work a minimum of 20 hours per week, with full-time availability during the summer.
Job Requirements
- Current enrollment in a local college or university towards a BS degree in mechanical, electrical, or ceramic engineering or material science.
- Strong analytical and communication skills.
- Familiarity with SolidWorks CAD and manufacturing processes is preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents and safety regulations.
- Understanding of military specifications and environments is a plus.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team setting.
- Must be a U.S. citizen.
