Responsibilities
- Carry out engineering assignments related to the design of mechanically functioning equipment.
- Monitor production, installation, operation, maintenance, testing, and repair of mechanical and electro-mechanical equipment.
- Assist with CAD work, design, analysis, hardware integration, and testing.
- Revise and create process plans and documentation.
- Collaborate with the engineering team on ongoing programs.
- Utilize strong computer and writing skills for reports and correspondence.
- Engage in hands-on tasks and team-oriented projects.
Job Requirements
- Current student in Mechanical Engineering with at least two years of coursework completed.
- Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or better preferred.
- Experience with Solidworks CAD and knowledge of manufacturing is preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret safety and operational documents.
- Understanding of military specifications and standards is a plus.
- Must be able to work a minimum of 20 hours a week, with full-time availability during the summer.
- U.S. citizenship required for compliance with export regulations.
