Responsibilities
- Update and maintain accurate plant layouts in CAD and PDF formats.
- Confirm dimensions and equipment placement through site walkdowns.
- Develop proposed future layout concepts for upcoming projects.
- Apply drafting standards and ensure drawings include key references.
- Collaborate with various stakeholders to gather requirements and feedback.
- Document changes made between revisions and maintain organized files.
- Prepare an end-of-internship report summarizing work completed and recommendations.
Job Requirements
- Currently enrolled in an accredited degree program related to engineering or architecture.
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD (2D drafting; 3D or Revit is a plus).
- Ability to perform accurate measurements and translate field conditions into drawings.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Effective communication skills for collaboration in a manufacturing environment.
- Must comply with drug-free workplace policies.
- U.S. Citizenship or appropriate status required for certain positions.
