Responsibilities
- Perform assignments to develop professional knowledge and abilities, contributing to Parker’s R&D roadmap.
- Acquire on-the-job training in specialized scientific or engineering principles and techniques.
- Complete technical assignments to familiarize with the company's engineering methods and practices.
- Gain experience in designing and building process automation, including programming robots and CAD drawing.
- Assist team members with project assignments and gain experience in project management techniques.
- Attend internal trainings and apply learned methods and techniques for continuous improvement.
- Contribute to team efforts by completing related tasks as needed.
Job Requirements
- Currently enrolled in or completed a degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical, or Automation Engineering, with a GPA of 3.0 or higher.
- Fundamental understanding of safe laboratory practices and statistical analysis.
- Ability to work effectively on scientific, engineering, and manufacturing assignments.
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively as a team member.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen or Lawful Permanent Resident.
