Responsibilities

  • Identify, manage, and communicate program risks, dependencies, and mitigation strategies.
  • Coordinate global hardware and software development activities across embedded engineering and partner teams.
  • Drive component-level development by partnering with technical leads across electrical, software, and hardware disciplines.
  • Serve as the primary interface between truck division Program Managers and Embedded Engineering teams to communicate program status, risks, and technical issues.
  • Facilitate and lead technical design reviews for assigned projects.
  • Ensure intellectual property protection for new Embedded Engineering innovations.
  • Support ASPICE process integration and compliance across PACCAR’s software development lifecycle.

Job Requirements

  • B.S. in Engineering (Electrical, Computer, Mechanical), Computer Science, or a related discipline.
  • 3 – 5 years of experience with full product development lifecycle and new product introduction.
  • Hands-on knowledge of software development lifecycles (Waterfall, Agile, Iterative).
  • Background in electrical systems, embedded components, or software systems design.
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams in a matrixed environment.
  • Experience with project planning, schedule tracking, and critical path analysis.
  • Strong communication skills with both technical and non-technical audiences.
