Responsibilities
- Conceptualize, design, and document mechanical systems and components for vehicles.
- Collaborate with internal teams and end-users to improve platform designs.
- Provide support and direction to engineers and technicians.
- Perform integration, testing, and troubleshooting on vehicle systems.
- Support safety, quality, and process improvements.
- Engage in hands-on work and field testing of designs.
- Own the design and development of vehicle systems and platform integrations.
Job Requirements
- BS or MS in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Automotive Engineering, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in designing and supporting mechanical systems.
- 3D CAD experience, preferably with SolidWorks.
- Proficiency with 3D printing and scanning.
- Understanding of control systems and power electronics.
- Experience with electronics lab equipment and tools.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Security Clearance.
