Responsibilities
- Lead mechanical design for AI supercomputer products in data center applications.
- Collaborate with teams to design and optimize thermal solutions for hardware.
- Integrate thermal management strategies into hardware design from concept to production.
- Design and validate mechanical systems such as chassis and cooling systems.
- Conduct mechanical testing to ensure long-term reliability under extreme conditions.
- Mentor engineers and collaborate with suppliers to develop high-quality products.
- Lead the production and launch of new products while ensuring compliance with quality standards.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field (Master’s preferred).
- 7+ years of experience in mechanical design for IT hardware.
- Proficiency in CAD tools and finite element analysis (FEA).
- Strong understanding of mechanical design, materials, and manufacturing methods.
- Ability to analyze experimental data and implement corrective actions.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to perform first-principles calculations.
- Experience with data center hardware or high-performance computing systems preferred.
