Responsibilities
- Become a Subject Matter Expert on Onto Innovation’s Inspection and Metrology products.
- Support customer applications development activities, including system set-up and inspection.
- Work with customers to understand their requirements and ensure optimal use of systems.
- Provide training to customers and internal teams for effective system use.
- Develop system requirements that meet customer needs and product definitions.
- Assist in developing and executing system level test plans for validation.
- Compile and present test data during design validations to peers.
Job Requirements
- B.S. in Engineering, Physics, or Materials Science is required; M.Sc or Ph.D preferred.
- Greater than two years of process engineering experience in wafer or panel manufacturing.
- Over two years of hands-on experience with semiconductor inspection and metrology equipment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and solve problems proactively.
- Experience in a fast-paced environment.
- Fluency in Japanese, Chinese, or Korean is a plus but not required.
