Responsibilities
- Define the AI strategy and architecture for integrating machine learning into core engineering and manufacturing processes.
- Partner with engineers to map existing processes and define AI/automation architecture.
- Lead projects in predictive maintenance, computer vision for defect detection, and LLM-based engineering assistants.
- Build AI assistants to query internal knowledge bases and tools.
- Architect robust pipelines for data ingestion and storage across multi-modal datasets.
- Establish scalable MLOps infrastructure for model management and deployment.
- Hire, mentor, and manage a team of engineers focused on AI and machine learning.
Job Requirements
- 5+ years of applied ML/AI experience, with 3+ years in a technical leadership role.
- Hands-on expertise in large language models, predictive modeling, and computer vision.
- Strong background in ML systems architecture and production deployment.
- Advanced proficiency in Python; familiarity with C++/CUDA is a plus.
- Experience with MLOps stacks and GPU optimization.
- Strong collaboration skills with the ability to communicate across teams.
- Demonstrated success in delivering AI-powered products into production.
