Responsibilities
- Develop flight dynamics modeling strategies and methodologies
- Develop the aircraft plant model and aerodynamic database
- Define and quantify model limitations and uncertainties
- Collaborate with aerodynamics, controls, and mechanical design teams
- Integrate in-house and third-party models into the aircraft simulation model
- Conduct Hardware- and Software-in-the-loop simulations
- Support control system design and validation
Job Requirements
- Currently enrolled in or recently completed a degree in EE/ME or similar
- Good knowledge of aircraft flight dynamics, stability, and controls
- Knowledge of modeling complex, nonlinear physical systems
- Proficient in MATLAB/Simulink and Excel
- Able to work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with aircraft modeling and visualization tools is preferred
- Coding skills in Python and C/C++ are advantageous
