Senior System Firmware Engineer - BIOS UEFI

The role involves designing, implementing, and delivering innovations for GPU-based client products, focusing on firmware development, specifically in BIOS (UEFI) systems.

• Design and implement innovations for GPU-based client products.
• Collaborate with a global team of BIOS (UEFI) developers.
• Develop performance-optimized UEFI/BIOS solutions.
• Ensure code coverage through unit tests and maintain detailed reports.
• Provide software quality reports based on static analysis and code coverage.
• Work with the security team to align code with product security goals.
• Partner with hardware teams to influence hardware design and review architecture.

• Expertise in System BIOS (UEFI) firmware development on X86 or ARM platforms.
• Strong experience with IBVs or EDK2 firmware architecture.
• Solid experience in the end-to-end delivery of client products.
• Understanding of low-level interfaces between BIOS (UEFI) and OS.
• Experience with C/C++ development and debugging in embedded environments.
• Excellent communication skills and a strong work ethic.
• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science or equivalent experience.
