Responsibilities
- Design and deliver innovations for GPU-based client products with a focus on firmware development.
- Collaborate with global teams of BIOS (UEFI) developers on NVIDIA client designs.
- Develop performance-optimized UEFI/BIOS solutions using industry standards.
- Write and automate unit tests for each implemented module and maintain detailed unit test case reports.
- Provide software quality reports based on static analysis and code coverage.
- Work with the security team to ensure code aligns with product security goals.
- Partner with hardware teams to influence hardware design and review architecture and schematics.
Job Requirements
- Domain expertise in System BIOS (UEFI) Firmware development on X86 or ARM platforms.
- Strong experience with IBVs or EDK2 Firmware architecture.
- Solid understanding of low-level interfaces between BIOS (UEFI) and OS.
- Experience with C/C++ development, bash/python scripting, and debugging in embedded environments.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, with a strong sense of teamwork.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of experience as an individual contributor.
