Responsibilities
- Designing, implementing, and delivering innovations for GPU-based client products focused on firmware development.
- Collaborating with a global team of BIOS (UEFI) developers on NVIDIA client designs.
- Developing performance-optimized UEFI/BIOS solutions using industry standards.
- Writing and automating unit tests for implemented modules and maintaining test case reports.
- Providing software quality reports based on static analysis and code coverage.
- Working with the security team to align developed code with product security goals.
- Partnering closely with hardware teams to influence hardware design and review architecture and schematics.
Job Requirements
- Expertise in System BIOS (UEFI) Firmware development on X86 or ARM platforms.
- Strong experience with IBVs or EDK2 Firmware architecture.
- Solid understanding of low-level interfaces between BIOS (UEFI) and OS.
- Experience with C/C++ development and debugging in embedded Linux/Windows.
- Excellent communication skills and a commitment to quality work.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science or equivalent experience.
- 8+ years of experience as an individual contributor.
