Responsibilities

  • Use internal and industry-standard tools for pre-silicon power analysis.
  • Develop and share best practices for power analysis.
  • Perform comparative power analysis to identify trends and anomalies.
  • Collaborate with architects and designers to interpret power data and identify bugs.
  • Select and run a variety of workloads for power analysis.
  • Prototype architectural features in Verilog and analyze power.

Job Requirements

  • Pursuing a BS or MS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related fields.
  • Strong understanding of energy consumption and low power design.
  • Familiarity with Verilog and ASIC design principles.
  • Previous internships or work in Power Optimization is beneficial.
  • Strong coding skills in Python, Perl, and C++.
  • Strong analytical skills and a proactive attitude.
