Responsibilities
- Define the technical roadmap for generative, imitation, and reinforcement learning models in vehicle planning.
- Recruit, mentor, and lead a team of ML engineers focused on LLM/VLM/VLA systems.
- Oversee execution of data generation strategies for high-quality training datasets.
- Collaborate with hardware, firmware, and safety teams for AI model deployment.
- Provide technical mentorship on integrating ML models into the autonomous driving stack.
- Ensure production-grade ML models are delivered for safety-critical applications.
- Translate complex research into engineering plans and long-term product roadmaps.
Job Requirements
- 5+ years of experience managing ML teams in autonomous systems or robotics.
- Hands-on experience with ML planning models in real-world environments.
- Deep understanding of modern deep learning architectures (LLMs, VLMs, VLAs).
- Track record of delivering production-grade ML models at scale.
- Master’s degree or PhD in CS, EE, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 12+ years of professional experience in the AV or AI industry.
- Experience with scaling LLM/VLM/VLA systems for real-time robotics preferred.
