Responsibilities
- Define the technical roadmap for generative, imitation, and reinforcement learning models for vehicle planning.
- Recruit, mentor, and manage a team of ML engineers focused on LLM/VLM/VLA systems.
- Oversee data generation and collection strategies for high-quality training datasets.
- Collaborate with hardware, firmware, and safety teams for AI model deployment.
- Provide technical mentorship on integrating ML models into the autonomous driving stack.
- Ensure production-grade ML models meet performance and safety standards.
- Translate complex research into tactical engineering plans and product roadmaps.
Job Requirements
- Hands-on experience in delivering ML planning models in real-world environments.
- 5+ years of experience managing ML teams in autonomous systems or robotics.
- Deep understanding of modern deep learning architectures and optimization techniques.
- Proven track record of shipping production-grade ML models for safety-critical applications.
- Master’s degree or PhD in CS, EE, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 12+ years of professional experience in the AV or AI industry.
- Experience with LLM/VLM/VLA systems for embodied AI or real-time robotics.
