Responsibilities
- Generate mechanical designs for precision mechanical assemblies and mechatronic systems.
- Create design outputs to support Novanta’s Product Development Process.
- Collaborate with product management to develop engineered solutions.
- Develop technical specifications and drawings for designs.
- Conduct stack-up tolerance analysis for mechanical fit and functionality.
- Collaborate with electrical engineers for integration and validation.
- Provide technical support to customers and perform hands-on testing and validation.
Job Requirements
- BS or MS in Mechanical Engineering, Robotics, or similar fields.
- 5+ years of experience in integrated product design, robotics, or medical devices.
- Proficiency in SolidWorks and knowledge of production processes.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Positive attitude with strong engagement and influencing skills.
- Proficient in GD&T and able to meet project goals.
- Experience with Microsoft Office tools.
