Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and test new products and product improvements.
- Perform drawing releases to production and support engineering layouts.
- Use SolidWorks and SolidWorks PDM for product design.
- Produce specifications for products and select raw materials.
- Collaborate with Quality, Electrical, Sales, Assembly, and Fabrication Departments.
- Provide feedback to production floor employees and improve drawings as needed.
- Develop equipment layout designs for customers.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
- 6+ years of experience in Mechanical Engineering.
- 3+ years of experience with SolidWorks and SolidWorks PDM; AutoCAD is a plus.
- Excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced R&D environment.
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Successful completion of a background check and drug screening.
