Responsibilities
- Develop aircraft electrical wiring designs and select aircraft-type conductors and components.
- Ensure compliance with standards such as SAE AS 50881 and IPC/WHMA-A-620.
- Design electrical wiring interconnection systems (EWIS) using ECAD software tools.
- Collaborate with harness fabrication shops.
- Work independently and as part of a multi-disciplined team.
- Manage diverse assignments in a fast-paced environment.
- Troubleshoot issues related to aircraft subsystems.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a STEM discipline and 12 years of relevant experience, or Master’s degree and 10 years of experience.
- Active DoD Secret clearance or higher.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret clearance.
- Experience with military aircraft subsystem development is preferred.
