Responsibilities
- Ownership of the technical baseline and oversight of technical activities across multiple contracts.
- Maintain cognizance over requirements development, hardware/software design, integration, and verification/validation activities.
- Provide technical leadership and mentoring in systems engineering principles.
- Chair technical meetings such as requirements and design reviews.
- Drive process development, continuous improvement, and affordability initiatives.
- Support program reviews and assist in resolving engineering challenges.
- Act as the technical liaison to the program manager to ensure successful project execution.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or STEM-related discipline with 14 years of experience.
- Demonstrated technical leadership skills and ability to make sound judgments.
- Experience in leading design, production, and integration of complex systems.
- Background in aerospace systems, including missile systems and avionics.
- Must have an active DoD Secret clearance.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Preferred experience in Air Launched Weapon/Missile Systems Development.
