Responsibilities
- Ownership of the technical baseline and oversees technical activities across multiple contracts.
- Maintain cognizance over technical activities for requirements development, hardware/software design, integration, and verification/validation.
- Solve technical problems and provide executable solutions.
- Provide technical leadership and mentoring in systems engineering principles.
- Chair technical meetings such as requirements and design reviews.
- Support program reviews and assist in resolving engineering challenges.
- Interface with functional departments and suppliers to secure team staffing and articulate project requirements.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or STEM-related discipline with 14 years of experience.
- Demonstrated technical leadership skills and ability to make sound judgments.
- Experience leading design, production, and integration of complex systems.
- Background in aerospace systems and knowledge of missile and avionics systems.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Must have an active DoD Secret clearance.
- Preferred experience as a technical lead in program office or business function.
