Responsibilities
- Ownership of the technical baseline and overseeing technical activities across multiple contracts.
- Support to the AARGM Chief Engineer for technical baseline and activities across contracts.
- Maintain cognizance over technical activities for requirements development, hardware/software design, integration, and verification/validation.
- Solve technical problems and provide executable solutions.
- Provide technical leadership, direction, and mentoring to other technical employees.
- Chair technical meetings such as requirements reviews and design reviews.
- Support program reviews as an engineering review authority and assist in resolving engineering challenges.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or STEM-related discipline with 14 years of experience, or 12 years with a master’s degree and 10 years of experience with a Ph.D.
- Demonstrated technical leadership skills and ability to make sound technical judgments.
- Well-versed in system engineering processes.
- Experience leading design, production, and integration of complex systems.
- Background in aerospace systems and knowledge of aircraft, missile, and avionics systems.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Must have an active DoD Secret clearance.
