Responsibilities
- Ownership of the technical baseline and oversight of technical activities across multiple contracts.
- Support the AARGM Chief Engineer for technical baseline and activities.
- Maintain cognizance over technical activities for requirements development, hardware/software design, integration, and verification/validation.
- Solve technical problems and provide sound, executable solutions.
- Provide technical leadership, direction, and mentoring to technical employees.
- Chair technical meetings such as requirements and design reviews.
- Facilitate technical support and approval of engineering documents and drawings.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or STEM-related discipline with 14 years of experience, or 12 years with a master’s degree, or 10 years with a Ph.D.
- Demonstrated technical leadership skills and ability to make sound technical judgments.
- Experience leading design, production, and integration of complex systems.
- Background in aerospace systems and knowledge of aircraft, missile, and avionics systems.
- Must have good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Active DoD Secret clearance required.
- Preferred experience in Air-to-Air weapon systems development and hardware/software integration of embedded systems.
