Responsibilities
- Lead reliability support to design teams through design tradeoffs and reliability assessments.
- Perform reliability predictions/assessments and failure rate estimations.
- Facilitate Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) and document controls/mitigations.
- Create and interpret reliability block diagrams and electrical schematics.
- Utilize industry tools for conducting reliability analysis.
- Adapt statistical tools to solve problems involving system configurations.
- Support design reviews and failure investigations.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline plus 5+ years of engineering experience, or a Master's degree with 3+ years, or a PhD with 1+ year of experience.
- Ability to perform reliability engineering tasks like FMEA and reliability assessments.
- Familiarity with modeling/simulation software for reliability analysis.
- Active SCI access or DOD Top Secret clearance at the time of application.
- Understanding of satellite design and reliability analysis principles.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio.
