Responsibilities
- Design Crew Systems/Cockpit and Equipment Integration for various aircraft components.
- Develop mockups and simulators for design validation.
- Perform trade studies and make recommendations based on findings.
- Identify and manage risks, issues, and opportunities in the design process.
- Utilize NX and Teamcenter tools for design tasks and integration of components.
- Ensure designs meet GD&T requirements for manufacturability.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to produce robust and maintainable configurations.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in a STEM discipline.
- 5-8 years of engineering experience, depending on the level applied for.
- Experience in aircraft crew/cockpit design and hardware integration.
- Proficiency in 3D CAD software applications.
- Ability to obtain a Secret clearance.
- Familiarity with NX CAD software and Teamcenter PLM is preferred.
- Experience with military airworthiness certification processes is a plus.
