Responsibilities
- Design Crew Systems/Cockpit and Equipment Integration for various aircraft components.
- Develop mockups and simulators for design validation.
- Perform trade studies and make recommendations based on findings.
- Identify and manage risks, issues, and opportunities in design projects.
- Utilize NX and Teamcenter tool suite for design tasks and integration.
- Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure robust and maintainable configurations.
- Apply GD&T requirements to models for manufacturability.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in a STEM discipline with relevant engineering experience (5 years for Principal, 8 years for Sr. Principal).
- Prior experience in aircraft crew/cockpit design or hardware integration.
- Proficiency in 3D CAD software applications.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a government Secret clearance.
- Preferred Master's Degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering.
- Familiarity with NX CAD software and military airworthiness certification processes.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
