Responsibilities
- Develop, design, and document mechanical layouts, racks, test fixtures, and lab equipment.
- Perform 3D modeling and layout of lab environments using CAD tools.
- Generate and release detailed mechanical drawings and parts lists.
- Collaborate with suppliers to procure components and manage part deliveries.
- Support integration and assembly efforts, ensuring component compliance.
- Participate in design reviews and configuration management.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of drawing standards and workflows.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in a STEM discipline with relevant experience (2 years for Level 2, 5 years for Level 3).
- Active DoD Secret clearance or higher.
- Demonstrated ability in utilizing CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, CATIA).
- Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Top Secret clearance.
- Preferred Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- Experience with Bill of Materials (BOM) and supplier coordination.
- Understanding of test engineering concepts.
