Mechanical Design Engineer / Principal Mechanical Design Engineer

• Mechanical design of test, measurement, and handling equipment for military aircraft.
• Gathering data and developing requirements while interfacing with suppliers.
• Acting as a manufacturing liaison during the build process to meet quality and cost objectives.
• Developing test plans and conducting environmental testing of support equipment.
• Testing and integrating manufactured support equipment on aircraft.
• Utilizing CAD software for generating detailed engineering drawings.
• Collaborating in a fast-paced environment and occasionally traveling to demonstrate equipment.

• Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline and relevant experience in mechanical design.
• Proficiency in CAD software for engineering drawings.
• Active DoD Secret clearance or higher.
• Ability to obtain Special Access Program (SAP) clearance.
• Experience with FEA software for stress analysis (preferred).
• FAA A&P Certificate or equivalent aircraft maintenance background (preferred).
• Knowledge of GD&T standards for manufacturing drawings (preferred).
