Responsibilities
- Develop design concepts and generate solid models.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders balancing technical, schedule, and cost requirements.
- Conduct trade studies to evaluate design approaches.
- Oversee the generation of engineering drawings using GD&T practices.
- Identify procurement needs and support fabrication.
- Provide assembly checkout and test support.
- Generate task plans and support proposal efforts.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a STEM discipline with 8 years of relevant experience or a Master’s degree with 6 years of experience.
- Experience in machine design and drawing generation.
- Ability to plan tasks and execute to schedule.
- US citizenship and active DOD Secret Clearance required.
- Preferred experience with CAD modeling and GD&T standards.
- Strong background in machine design and materials technology.
- Project management skills and ability to lead teams.
