Responsibilities
- Perform detailed board-level digital and mixed signal circuit design.
- Conduct circuit analysis and simulation to ensure design meets requirements.
- Select component parts for designs to withstand stringent environments.
- Collaborate with senior engineers and technical groups to evaluate designs.
- Write design and test documentation, including specifications and user manuals.
- Develop test procedures and reports during the qualification testing phase.
- Oversee component supplier design and testing with senior engineer oversight.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree with 2 years of experience in digital/mixed signal design or a Master’s degree with no experience.
- Familiarity with Agile project formats and tools like Jira and Git.
- Proficiency in schematic capture, board layout, and circuit simulation tools (PSpice or LTSpice).
- Experience in hardware troubleshooting and physical testing using lab measurement tools.
- Ability to generate design documents, specifications, and test plans.
- U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain/maintain a DoD Active Secret Clearance.
- Preferred experience with Cadence/Xpedition, Matlab, VHDL, Python, and military/space circuit design.
