Responsibilities
- Draft and interpret detailed drawings for fabrication.
- Fabricate, assemble, and install mechanical, electromechanical, and electronic components or assemblies.
- Set up and conduct prototype unit and subsystem tests under operational conditions.
- Analyze test data, identify issues, and recommend modifications.
- Support critical space flight hardware integration with high attention to detail and safety.
- Maintain clean room protocols, hazardous material handling, and operational procedures.
- Work flexible schedules, including off shifts, weekends, overtime, and travel for launch campaigns (up to 25% domestic travel).
Job Requirements
- High School Diploma and 2 years of related experience in Electrical, Mechanical, or equivalent.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD government clearance.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio).
- Hands-on experience with aerospace or related equipment, harness build, and installation methods.
- Knowledge of electrical measurements (AC/DC, resistance), voltage circuitry, and troubleshooting techniques.
- Understanding of clean room operations and spacecraft handling protocols.
- Ability to lift and position objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
