Responsibilities
- Design primary and secondary aircraft structural parts and assemblies.
- Lead and prepare engineering design solutions in an IPT environment.
- Collaborate with structural analysis, manufacturing, and materials processes.
- Employ GD&T and Model Based Engineering methods for airframe layouts.
- Mentor less experienced engineers and develop best practices.
- Interface with IPT/Program leadership, suppliers, and customers.
- Develop advanced design solutions to complex technical problems.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant STEM discipline.
- 2 years of related engineering experience or 0 years with a Master's degree.
- Experience designing composite aircraft parts/components.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance.
- Proficiency with NX Solid Modelling or similar 3D modeling software.
- Understanding of GD&T and MBE methods.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills.
