Mechanical Engineering Intern

The Mechanical Engineering Intern will work with the engineering team on product development, contributing to projects from concept to prototype testing in a collaborative environment.

• Support the design process for new products from initial concepts to prototypes.
• Use SolidWorks 3D CAD software to model components and assemblies.
• Assist with failure analysis and troubleshooting of mechanical components.
• Build, assemble, and test prototypes to validate designs.
• Document design specifications and test results.
• Develop product testing and validation procedures.
• Collaborate with engineers across disciplines for integrated product requirements.

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Experience in mechanical design, materials, or manufacturing processes through coursework.
• Familiarity with SolidWorks or another 3D CAD tool.
• Basic ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
• Exposure to manufacturing processes like machining, molding, or stamping.
• Comfort using hand and shop tools for prototype fabrication.
• Willingness to learn design for manufacturability principles.
