Responsibilities

  • Assist in the synthesis and processing of materials for solid-state and conventional lithium-ion batteries.
  • Perform materials characterization and property evaluation, including conductivity measurements and structural analysis.
  • Conduct battery performance characterization through various electrochemical testing methods.
  • Apply data analytics to experimental datasets to identify trends and performance drivers.
  • Analyze and communicate research findings through presentations and reports.
  • Work collaboratively within a team to address complex scientific questions.
  • Maintain a focus on empirical research and problem-solving in materials development.

Job Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a Ph.D. in a relevant field (Physics, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science).
  • Advanced research experience with publications or patents in relevant technical areas.
  • Strong foundation in chemistry, materials science, and reaction kinetics.
  • Hands-on experience in electrochemical systems and materials characterization techniques.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Must be enrolled in an accredited college or university with a minimum GPA of 3.0.
  • Availability for a full-time internship in Silicon Valley for three months or longer.
