Responsibilities
- Provide technical or mechanical support to internal and external teams for manufacturing and packaging.
- Support design validation testing and assist in developing engineering solutions based on test results.
- Offer on-site support for production and quality control teams.
- Assist in creating part and production specifications.
- Participate in root cause analysis and design corrective actions for nonconformances.
- Contribute to continuous improvement and cost-reduction initiatives.
- Facilitate communication between global engineering teams in Japanese and English.
Job Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of related engineering experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Solidworks, and Agile PLM.
- Knowledge of testing methodologies for environmental, vibration, and impact stress.
- Familiarity with high-volume production environments.
- Experience in design and testing of parts made of various materials.
- Basic knowledge of packaging materials and performance testing protocols.
- Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or equivalent.
