Responsibilities
- Build, mentor, and manage a team of mechanical engineers.
- Oversee concept development, design, and engineering for products.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for successful product development.
- Guide design execution using CAD, FEA, and simulation tools.
- Champion Design for Manufacturing (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA) practices.
- Partner with suppliers to validate designs and optimize production processes.
- Lead root cause analysis of manufacturing issues and drive improvements.
Job Requirements
- B.S. or M.S. in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- 10+ years of mechanical engineering experience, with 3+ years in leadership.
- Experience in sheet metal, plastic injection molding, and electro-mechanical product development.
- Proficiency in CAD and simulation/validation methods.
- Knowledge of GD&T, tolerance analysis, and industry standards.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
