Responsibilities
- Build, mentor, and manage a mechanical engineering team.
- Oversee concept development, design, and engineering for products.
- Collaborate with various departments to ensure successful product launches.
- Guide design execution using CAD and simulation tools.
- Champion Design for Manufacturing (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA).
- Partner with suppliers to validate designs and optimize production processes.
- Lead root cause analysis and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Job Requirements
- B.S. or M.S. in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- 10+ years of mechanical engineering experience, with at least 3+ years in leadership.
- Proven experience in sheet metal, plastic injection molding, and electro-mechanical product development.
- Strong understanding of high-volume manufacturing processes.
- Proficiency in CAD and simulation/validation methods.
- Knowledge of GD&T and mechanical failure analysis.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
