Responsibilities
- Provide lead engineer function for design modification projects and equipment applications.
- Conduct site visits for field condition assessments and equipment evaluations.
- Perform emergency response duties outside of normal business hours.
- Coordinate cross-disciplinary activities for project execution.
- Apply relevant codes, standards, and procedures to work tasks.
- Ensure engineering requirements and Authority specifications are met.
- Provide technical leadership and review designs and reports from other engineers.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
- Minimum of eight (8+) years of work-related experience.
- Proficient in the design, operation, and maintenance of mechanical systems specific to the electric utility industry.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects effectively.
- Working knowledge of applicable codes, standards, and regulations.
- Experience with mechanical design or forecasting software preferred.
