Responsibilities
- Design hardware solutions for brain-machine interface devices.
- Collaborate with neuroscientists, biologists, and engineers to define design criteria.
- Own projects from concept to production within the robotics and surgery engineering team.
- Utilize mechanical engineering principles in the development of surgical platforms.
- Work on reducing surgery time and invasiveness while maximizing safety and accuracy.

Job Requirements
- 6+ months of applicable technical experience outside of the classroom.
- Strong understanding of engineering first principles.
- Proficiency in Solidworks or similar CAD program.
- Experience with conventional machining and rapid prototyping technologies.
- Preferred 1+ years of mechanical engineering industry experience.
- Resourceful, flexible, and adaptable in task management.
- Effective communication skills across cross-disciplinary teams.
