Responsibilities
- Explore early device architectures and drive design decisions.
- Scope projects to meet aggressive schedules from inception to implementation.
- Perform market research and gather user feedback for product direction.
- Create detailed 3D CAD and 2D drawings with a focus on DFX.
- Rapidly prototype existing technologies and develop expanded capabilities.
- Maintain relationships with key vendors to enhance capabilities.
- Develop and execute test plans for product verification and validation.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- 5+ years of mechanical engineering experience, from concept to production.
- Strong understanding of engineering principles and DFX.
- Proficiency in CAD (SolidWorks preferred).
- Experience with implantable electromechanical medical devices (preferred).
- Knowledge of relevant regulations (ISO 13485, 21 CFR).
- Experience scaling production lines (preferred).
