Responsibilities
- Design and oversee the transition to production of custom electronics systems.
- Engage in all phases of board design, including part selection and schematic design.
- Develop custom motor drivers and high-bandwidth camera hardware.
- Test hardware systems such as Hardware-In-The-Loop and validation boards.
- Conduct case studies on future system architectures and compute platforms.
- Debug and support manufacturing and testing efforts.
- Collaborate with optical, mechanical, and software engineering teams.
Job Requirements
- Experience in developing circuits or products used by real customers.
- Advanced knowledge in circuit board design, particularly in specific niches.
- Familiarity with sensors, power management, and signal integrity.
- Design experience with communication protocols (SPI, UART, I2C).
- Competence with lab equipment such as oscilloscopes and power supplies.
- A portfolio showcasing completed projects is preferred.
- Experience in firmware development for embedded systems is a plus.
