Responsibilities
- Own meaningful projects related to custom electronics systems.
- Design and verify circuit boards, including part selection and schematic design.
- Develop custom motor drivers and high-bandwidth camera hardware.
- Create FPGA-based Optical Coherence Tomography data acquisition systems.
- Test hardware such as Hardware-In-The-Loop systems and validation boards.
- Conduct case studies on future system architectures and designs.
- Collaborate with other engineering teams to ensure integration of electrical systems.
Job Requirements
- Experience developing circuits or products used by real customers.
- Advanced knowledge in circuit board design, particularly in specialized areas.
- Familiarity with sensors, power management, and signal integrity.
- Design experience with common communication protocols (e.g., SPI, UART).
- Competence with lab equipment like oscilloscopes and power supplies.
- Preferred experience in developing electronics for critical systems (medical, aerospace).
- Familiarity with firmware development for embedded systems (C/C++, Rust).
