Responsibilities

  • Design and oversee all phases of board design including part selection and layout.
  • Develop custom motor drivers and high-bandwidth camera hardware.
  • Create FPGA-based Optical Coherence Tomography data acquisition systems.
  • Test hardware such as Hardware-In-The-Loop systems and validation boards.
  • Conduct case studies on future system architectures and actuator layouts.
  • Debug and support broader team efforts in manufacturing and testing.
  • Collaborate with optical, mechanical, and software engineering teams.

Job Requirements

  • Experience in developing circuits or products used by real customers.
  • Advanced knowledge in circuit board design, particularly in niche areas.
  • Familiarity with sensors, power management, and signal integrity.
  • Design experience with communication protocols (SPI, UART, I2C, etc.).
  • Competence with lab equipment (oscilloscopes, power supplies, etc.).
  • Preferred experience in developing electronics for critical systems.
  • Firmware development experience for embedded systems (C/C++, Rust) is a plus.
