Responsibilities

  • Own meaningful projects related to custom electronics systems.
  • Design and verify circuit boards, including part selection and schematic design.
  • Develop custom motor drivers and high-bandwidth camera hardware.
  • Create FPGA-based Optical Coherence Tomography data acquisition systems.
  • Test hardware such as Hardware-In-The-Loop systems and validation boards.
  • Conduct case studies on future system architectures and designs.
  • Collaborate with other engineering teams to ensure integration of electrical systems.

Job Requirements

  • Experience developing circuits or products used by real customers.
  • Advanced knowledge in circuit board design, particularly in specialized areas.
  • Familiarity with sensors, power management, and signal integrity.
  • Design experience with common communication protocols (e.g., SPI, UART).
  • Competence with lab equipment like oscilloscopes and power supplies.
  • Preferred experience in developing electronics for critical systems (medical, aerospace).
  • Familiarity with firmware development for embedded systems (C/C++, Rust).
