Responsibilities
- Design and oversee all phases of board design including part selection and schematic design.
- Develop custom motor drivers and high-bandwidth camera hardware.
- Work on FPGA-based Optical Coherence Tomography data acquisition systems.
- Test hardware, including Hardware-In-The-Loop systems and validation boards.
- Conduct case studies on future system architectures.
- Collaborate closely with optical, mechanical, and software engineering teams.
- Support debugging, manufacturing, and testing efforts.
Job Requirements
- Experience in developing circuits or products used by real customers.
- Advanced circuit board design knowledge in a niche area.
- Familiarity with sensors, power management, and signal integrity.
- Design experience with communication protocols like SPI, UART, I2C.
- Proficiency with common lab equipment such as oscilloscopes.
- Portfolio showcasing completed projects is preferred.
- Experience in firmware development for embedded systems is a plus.
