Responsibilities

  • Design and oversee all phases of board design including part selection and schematic design.
  • Develop custom motor drivers and high-bandwidth camera hardware.
  • Work on FPGA-based Optical Coherence Tomography data acquisition systems.
  • Test hardware, including Hardware-In-The-Loop systems and validation boards.
  • Conduct case studies on future system architectures.
  • Collaborate closely with optical, mechanical, and software engineering teams.
  • Support debugging, manufacturing, and testing efforts.

Job Requirements

  • Experience in developing circuits or products used by real customers.
  • Advanced circuit board design knowledge in a niche area.
  • Familiarity with sensors, power management, and signal integrity.
  • Design experience with communication protocols like SPI, UART, I2C.
  • Proficiency with common lab equipment such as oscilloscopes.
  • Portfolio showcasing completed projects is preferred.
  • Experience in firmware development for embedded systems is a plus.
