Responsibilities
- Design and oversee all phases of board design including part selection and layout.
- Develop custom motor drivers and high-bandwidth camera hardware.
- Create FPGA-based Optical Coherence Tomography data acquisition systems.
- Test hardware such as Hardware-In-The-Loop systems and validation boards.
- Conduct case studies on future system architectures and actuator layouts.
- Debug and support broader team efforts in manufacturing and testing.
- Collaborate with optical, mechanical, and software engineering teams.
Job Requirements
- Experience in developing circuits or products used by real customers.
- Advanced knowledge in circuit board design, particularly in niche areas.
- Familiarity with sensors, power management, and signal integrity.
- Design experience with communication protocols (SPI, UART, I2C, etc.).
- Competence with lab equipment (oscilloscopes, power supplies, etc.).
- Preferred experience in developing electronics for critical systems.
- Firmware development experience for embedded systems (C/C++, Rust) is a plus.
