Responsibilities
- Define the organizational structure of the Electrical Engineering team and make hiring decisions.
- Set the long-term vision and technical roadmap for electrical engineering efforts.
- Make final decisions on technical trade-offs and direction.
- Oversee the electrical engineering design lifecycle and ensure robust system-level development.
- Conduct regular project reviews and manage resource allocation.
- Lead performance assessments and development meetings with Principal and Senior Engineers.
- Communicate engineering progress and project status to the executive team.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- 10+ years of electrical engineering experience, with 5 years in leadership roles.
- Strong experience in system-level electrical design and hardware integration.
- Hands-on experience with RF systems and autonomous systems.
- Proven track record in leading engineering teams through product development cycles.
- Excellent communication skills for conveying technical information to executives.
- Familiarity with RF digital communications and drone/UAV platforms is a plus.
