Responsibilities
- Ownership of machine and robotic design projects
- Investigation of applicable technologies and components
- Prototyping, testing, and iterating designs
- Generation of supporting design documentation
- Controls and actuator sizing, interfacing, integration, and testing
- Proficiency with 3D CAD software, including modeling and creation of detailed drawings
- Problem-solving complex technical challenges
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- Strong skills in mechanical fundamentals and creative problem-solving
- Experience in design cycles from concept through production
- Proficiency with CAD software (Onshape, Solidworks, etc.)
- Highly motivated and eager to learn
- Hands-on experience with machine shop and prototyping tools (preferred)
- Familiarity with FDA and/or EMA regulated industries (preferred)
