Responsibilities
- Develop manufacturable packaging designs and create detailed CAD drawings and BOMs.
- Participate in product failure root cause analysis and implement design improvements.
- Provide technical support to production assembly and quality assurance teams.
- Perform hands-on troubleshooting and failure analysis of electromechanical assemblies.
- Define and execute First Article Acceptance Test Plans (FAAT) and Design Verification Tests (DVT) for new hardware.
- Define manufacturing processes (DFM/DFA) and provide ongoing production support.
- Design thermal management systems to ensure optimal product performance.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related fields.
- Strong knowledge of Mechanical Engineering fundamentals.
- Proficiency in SolidWorks or equivalent CAD tools.
- Knowledge of product design for harsh environments.
- Familiarity with electrical engineering fundamentals and wiring design.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in electromechanical and packaging design.
- Experience with MIL-STD-810G standards and prototyping methods.
