Responsibilities
- Perform engineering activities for the design and manufacture of gas circuit breakers.
- Develop, prepare, and maintain Bills of Materials (BOMs) and design drawings.
- Analyze new design requirements for validation of concepts, manufacture, and assembly.
- Prepare all necessary drawings and documents for design, manufacturing, and assembly.
- Assist in the design of special customer options including mechanical and electrical items.
- Support manufacturing, quality, and sales sections with production-related issues.
- Assist field engineers with troubleshooting and repair.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
- 0-2 years of experience through full-time employment, internships, or co-op programs.
- Intermediate interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a team environment on multiple projects.
- Skills in reading and creating technical drawings.
- Intermediate analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, CAD software, and ERP/MRP systems.
