Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and manage hardware engineering teams to foster innovation and collaboration.
- Oversee design, analysis, prototyping, and testing of electromechanical systems.
- Ensure high-quality designs that meet specifications and deadlines.
- Manage resources, budgets, and timelines for hardware engineering projects.
- Collaborate with product, operations, software, and manufacturing teams on design requirements.
- Support manufacturing teams in transitioning designs from prototype to production.
- Drive continuous improvement in design processes and methodologies.
Job Requirements
- Advanced degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
- 10+ years of experience in Hardware Engineering, with 5+ years in a leadership role.
- Proven track record of delivering complex hardware products, preferably in robotics or automation.
- Strong understanding of materials, manufacturing processes, and product lifecycle management.
- Experience with CAD and simulation tools.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Startup experience is a plus.
