Responsibilities
- Gather requirements for MGSE designs.
- Model designs in CAD software.
- Create flowcharts to demonstrate design use cases.
- Draft and release engineering drawings.
- Conduct analysis on load-bearing designs.
- Support senior engineers with MGSE design and analysis.
- Participate in review meetings for design approval.
Job Requirements
- Major in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering.
- Experience with CAD software (e.g., Solidworks, Creo, Catia).
- Familiarity with machine shop operations (lathes, mills).
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Solid understanding of mechanical engineering fundamentals and satellite hardware.
- Preferred GPA of 3.0 or above.
- Junior or Senior class standing.
