Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end mechanical product design and delivery from concept through launch, ensuring technical excellence and timely execution.
- Drive cross-functional technical decision-making across various engineering teams.
- Utilize prototyping, tolerance analysis, and simulation tools to validate early design concepts.
- Validate assembly sequence and in-process testing plans to meet product quality targets.
- Define and manage program baselines in partnership with technical program managers.
- Evaluate and de-risk new technologies and features through structured analysis.
- Work closely with validation, systems, and manufacturing engineering teams to address issues found during testing.
Job Requirements
- Doctorate, Master's, or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field with relevant experience.
- Proficiency in mechanical design using Creo CAD software.
- Experience designing complex assemblies using various manufacturing techniques.
- Familiarity with data analysis tools and thermal/finite element analysis.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Work experience in the consumer electronics industry, including collaboration with suppliers and ODM partners.
- Ability to articulate technical concepts effectively.
