Responsibilities
- Support testing of substation equipment.
- Represent the Engineering group at departmental meetings.
- Review and approve/disapprove contractor submittals.
- Review test reports and test procedures.
- Provide technical specifications for electrical systems design.
- Collaborate as a team player.
- Utilize MicroStation CAD for design work.
Job Requirements
- Valid New York State Professional Engineer's License.
- Four years of full-time experience in electrical engineering.
- Master's degree in electrical engineering accepted as equivalent to one year of experience.
- At least one year of recent experience as a major contributor or project leader on complex projects for higher levels.
- Knowledge of the NYCT Subway system, yards, shops, and transit railcars.
- Ability to work well in a team environment.
- Proficiency in MicroStation CAD.
