Responsibilities
- Engage with MTA Capital Construction to review electrical and communications bulletin submissions.
- Participate in coordination meetings with project teams, design consultants, and contractors.
- Review and evaluate new AC and DC lighting fixture installations.
- Analyze capital project drawings and electrical specifications.
- Provide detailed engineering feedback to enhance project clarity and operational performance.
- Ensure compatibility with existing infrastructure and support quality improvements.
- Manage multiple assignments in a fast-paced environment.
Job Requirements
- Valid New York State Professional Engineer's License.
- Four years of full-time experience in electrical engineering.
- A master's degree in electrical engineering may substitute for one year of experience.
- Experience as a major contributor or project leader on complex projects for higher levels.
- Strong understanding of electrical systems and ability to interpret technical documentation.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
