Responsibilities
- Supervise a small unit or group in electrical engineering tasks.
- Prepare designs, plans, contract specifications, and estimates of quantities.
- Review electrical engineering plans for compliance with NYC codes.
- Participate in inspection operations and certify installation performance.
- Supervise the inspection of premises and construction for permits.
- Engage in the operation and maintenance of public works.
- Perform related work as assigned.
Job Requirements
- Baccalaureate degree in electrical or electronic engineering.
- One year of full-time satisfactory experience in electrical engineering work, or a Master's degree in the field.
- Basic knowledge of elevator and escalator systems.
- Understanding of relevant codes and standards (NEC, ASME A17.1/CSA B44, NFPA).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Strong decision-making abilities.
