Responsibilities
- Supervise a small unit or group in electrical engineering tasks.
- Prepare designs, plans, and contract specifications.
- Review electrical engineering plans for compliance with NYC codes.
- Participate in and supervise major inspection operations.
- Inspect premises and construction for compliance with laws and regulations.
- Participate in the operation and maintenance of public works.
- Engage in research and investigations related to engineering functions.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in electrical or electronic engineering.
- One year of full-time satisfactory experience in electrical engineering work, or a Master's degree in the same field.
- Excellent organizational, oral, and written communication skills.
- Strong decision-making skills.
- Basic understanding of elevator and escalator systems.
- Ability to operate a motor vehicle.
