Responsibilities
- Supervise subordinate employees in electrical engineering tasks.
- Engage in design, construction supervision, and inspection work.
- Prepare designs, plans, contract specifications, and estimates of quantities.
- Review electrical engineering plans for compliance with NYC codes.
- Participate in major inspection operations and certify installation of materials.
- Inspect premises related to construction and compliance with laws.
- Operate and maintain public works and recommend alterations or repairs.
Job Requirements
- Baccalaureate degree in electrical or electronic engineering.
- One year of full-time satisfactory experience in electrical engineering work, or a Master's degree in the same field.
- Excellent organizational, oral, and written communication skills.
- Strong decision-making skills.
- Basic understanding of elevator and escalator systems.
- Ability to operate a motor vehicle.
- Must comply with the New York State Public Officers Law & the MTA Code of Ethics.
