Responsibilities
- Partner with the audio hardware engineering team to define, design, and execute hardware.
- Coordinate and drive engineering deliverables, including subsystem specifications and validation results.
- Manage external design resources and contract manufacturers.
- Develop project schedules and communicate program statuses.
- Work cross-functionally to establish best practices and technology development processes.
- Ensure program documents are complete and available for review.
- Optimize program structure for clarity and efficiency.
Job Requirements
- BS in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, acoustic engineering, or related technical discipline.
- 3+ years of experience in the consumer electronics industry.
- 2+ years of experience managing technical projects.
- Experience with phase gate approach to technology development projects.
- Familiarity with product development phases from concept to mass production.
- Preferred experience with design and manufacturing of audio HW subsystems.
- Experience with head-mounted products or devices is a plus.
