Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners to develop sensor solutions for battery-operated products.
- Integrate new sensor modalities into high-volume consumer products throughout all stages of product development.
- Utilize analog, circuit design, and optoelectronics fundamentals to build, debug, and validate prototypes.
- Convert reference designs into custom product solutions by designing schematics and supervising board/Flexible Printed Circuit (FPC) layouts.
- Optimize sensor architecture and component selection for sensing system design.
- Work with Contract Manufacturer resources to enhance product differentiation.
- Perform lab measurements and factory tests to validate designs and resolve technical issues.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, or related field with 6+ years of experience in Electrical Engineering.
- 4+ years in consumer electronics or related fields, and in embedded or mobile system design.
- Experience in circuit design, board bring-up, and product NPI.
- Proven ability to lead technical teams and work with cross-functional groups.
- Hands-on experience with hardware bring-up, debugging, and functional verification.
- Knowledge of integrating sensing technologies in products.
- Proficiency with data collection and analysis tools like JMP, Python, LabView, MATLAB.
