Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners to deliver sensor solutions in battery-operated products.
- Lead integration of new sensor modalities into high-volume consumer products through all stages of product development.
- Utilize analog, circuit design, and optoelectronics fundamentals to build, debug, and validate prototypes.
- Apply electrical engineering fundamentals to convert reference designs into custom product solutions.
- Optimize sensor architecture, component selection, and sensing system design.
- Work closely with Contract Manufacturer resources to maximize internal resource focus on product differentiation.
- Perform lab measurements and factory tests to validate designs and resolve issues.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, or related field with 6+ years of experience.
- 4+ years in consumer electronics or related fields.
- 4+ years in embedded or mobile system design, sensing technologies, and circuit design.
- Experience leading technical teams and cross-functional groups.
- Hands-on experience with hardware bring-up, debugging, and functional verification.
- Experience integrating various sensing technologies into products.
- Proficiency with data collection and analysis tools such as JMP, Python, LabView, and MATLAB.
