Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners to develop sensor solutions for battery-operated products.
- Lead integration of new sensor modalities into high-volume consumer products throughout all product development stages.
- Utilize analog, circuit design, and optoelectronics fundamentals to build, debug, and validate prototypes.
- Convert reference designs into custom product solutions and actively participate in design reviews.
- Optimize sensor architecture and component selection for sensing systems.
- Work with Contract Manufacturer resources to maximize internal resource focus on product differentiation.
- Perform lab measurements and factory tests to validate designs and resolve issues.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, or related field with 6+ years of experience in Electrical Engineering.
- 4+ years of experience in consumer electronics or related fields.
- 4+ years of experience in embedded or mobile system design, sensing technologies, and circuit design.
- Experience leading technical teams and working with cross-functional groups and vendors.
- Hands-on experience with hardware bring-up, debugging, and functional verification.
- Knowledge of integrating sensing technologies such as optical or motion sensors into products.
- Proficiency with data collection and analysis tools like JMP, Python, LabView, and MATLAB.
