Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners to develop sensor solutions for battery-operated products.
- Lead integration of new sensor modalities into consumer products from prototyping to mass production.
- Utilize analog, circuit design, and optoelectronics fundamentals to build, debug, and validate prototypes.
- Convert reference designs into custom product solutions, including designing schematics and supervising layouts.
- Optimize sensor architecture and component selection for sensing systems.
- Work with Contract Manufacturer resources to maximize internal resource focus on product differentiation.
- Perform lab measurements and factory tests to validate designs and resolve technical issues.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, or related field with 6+ years of experience.
- 4+ years in consumer electronics or related fields.
- Experience in embedded or mobile system design and sensing technologies.
- Proven ability to lead technical teams and cross-functional groups.
- Hands-on experience with hardware bring-up, debugging, and functional verification.
- Demonstrated experience in integrating sensing technologies into products.
- Proficiency with data collection and analysis tools such as JMP, Python, and MATLAB.
