Responsibilities
- Lead design, development, deployment, and sustaining of multiple parts of the Robotics embedded stack.
- Architect the electrical system layout of autonomous mobile robots.
- Lead the design and implementation of wireless charging architectures for autonomous robots.
- Lead the design and prototyping of custom PCB boards for various functions.
- Architect and develop firmware for motor controllers, sensor interfaces, and communication systems.
- Analyze and mitigate thermal issues in the robotics system.
- Collaborate closely with software, mechanical, and systems teams to deliver functional robotic prototypes and production units.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent.
- 8+ years of industry experience.
- Expertise in electrical layout and PCB design.
- Skilled in inter-system communication protocols (e.g., CAN, I2C, UART, SPI).
- Proven experience in industrial automation systems and robotics.
- Proficient in C/C++ and Python with embedded systems development experience.
- Understanding of real-time operating systems and control loops.
